Deep Seated Tractor Stool in Elm and Ash.

The seat for the stool is made from a 3 inch thick solid piece of Elm, which is hand carved into a very comfortable if unusual seat shape, there is a small front pommel for further comfort.

Straight grained and quickly grown Ash is used for the four legs, giving a fine tapered leg, these go through the seat with a dark Oak wedge giving the stool rustic appearance, stretchers are positioned at a comfortable height enabling them to be used as a footrest. All turned parts in this stool are made on a Bobbin Bow Lathe.

This stool is 24 inches high, but it can be adjusted to required heights.

Two coats of finishing oil, two applications of high quality wax polish achieve the very deep lustre.
